KIDS help make the PEACE DOME a Universal Site for Peace

All it takes is one person with a vision to bring this to life in your town.

Youthful Leaders Create
a Different Kind of World for us all

by Christine Madar
I gathered with the kids who had spent the week at Camp Nianga here at the College of Metaphysics. This was their last day of camp and they’d had a full week of learning about the Peace Dome, creating a wonderful performance in it and bringing the Healing Wall to life on the outside. We were together now to talk about keeping this alive and how they wanted to bring the Peace Dome to their cities.

We talked about who they would tell - friends and family. What they would say? “Look at the website (www.peacedome.org ), send a stone for the wall and fabric for the flower of life.” I asked them what teachers they knew that would be interested in the Peace Dome - each one could think of several. Would they tell these teachers about the dedication in October? Yes.

There are so many ways for people to be involved in dedicating the dome - whether or not they are physically with us on October 11th.

Who do you know that will fall in love with this vision?

What about taking the large printed copies of the Universal Peace Covenant and having people sign them in support?

Susan's Story

What about taking the large printed copies of the Universal Peace Covenant and having people sign them in support?

One camper, Susan, said she knows a lot of people and received the challenge to ask every one of them to sign the covenant. She left two days later, a whole stack in hand and talking to her mother about what she intended to do.

I suggested to Susan that she talk to the mayor of her city and ask for support in reading the Universal Peace Covenant at 1:00pm CT on October 11th, which is the universal Moment of Peace during the day of dedication.

It is easy for me to see people bringing this to life in their cities. School teachers can create class projects, like poetry, paintings or essays that can be sent in honor of the Peace Dome. All it takes is one person with a vision to bring this to life in their town. When I mentioned the mayor to Susan she said that he lived just up the street from her and she knows him already.

Who do you know that will fall in love with this vision? There are so many simple ways to give and be active while we are building and creating the Peace Dome - it belongs to the world. We are fortunate to be the custodians here at the College of Metaphysics campus. We’ll happily support your efforts and if you need guidance or suggestions please e-mail us at peace@som.org.

Dear Dr Clark,

Thank you for your message. We plan to have a Special Prayer Assembly for our students on October 11 to join you in spirit.

We also take this opportunity to invite you to the 4th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World being held from 12th to 14th December 2003 where the highlight will be the presentation of an appeal on behalf of our 27,000 CMS students representing world's two billion children and generations yet unborn, asking the world judiciary to safeguard children's right to a safe and healthy ecology and a nuclear free world.

We are mailing a copy of the invitation brochure to you and look forward to seeing you at the Conference (there is no registration or participation fee and we will arrange for your accomodation and food at our International Guest House.
