Chance Cannon - Greeters
It is nine in the morning. There is a great sense of anticipation at the front gate as we are ready to receive the masses as the first few visitors begin to trickle in. I expect that the crowds will start to arrive in numbers closer to 10:30 or 11:00. Everyone looks very connected in their matching outfits. I feel that most are focused on the number of people we have visit campus, and I think the true success of this event is in the thousands of people reading the peace covenant around the world. This is what will cause a shift in consciousness of the planet. This is what I look forward to and am excited about.

Mari Hamersley--Reflection Pool 47, English as Second Language teacher
It’s 10:30 a.m. We have been saying the Prayer for Peace and Enlightenment now for over three hours continuously. When I first arrived at the area of the Reflection Pool at 6:00 this morning I experienced the stillness and love, and it is so much greater now. It is reverent, beautiful, holy, peaceful and connected. We are all women in this area and all in white dresses with our blue scarves representing both the purity and spirituality of what we’re doing and being. As I have been saying the prayer, it has called forth a feeling, almost a remembrance, within me of serving in an ancient temple. There is such devotion in all our hearts to the ideal of peace and enlightenment throughout humanity. At the same time we are also very much in the present moment as we unifiy with people all over the world. I see their faces in my mind as I move through each country. It is a sacred, heart-centered connection and I am so grateful to be right here today. We have a special book for insights for people who experience the Reflection Pool and many of them are also simply saying, "Thank you." I know the experience is changing me. I can imagine how it’ll affect others. So off I go to continue the prayer until sunset tonight.

11am This day continues to fill me with each passing moment. My heart is overflowing with peace. There is so much beauty around me and so much power in the souls of each individual here to day. I have a very special position in being with each person as they lay a single tile upon the mosaic. Every soul is asked to say aloud or to think a peace-filled thought as they place their tile. It is such an elevated and intimate experience. I am so incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to share this with so many people. It is the embodiment of what it means for each individual to be so valuable and important in the all powerful, all pervading, ever-present existence of creation. This is what it means to live in peace.

Carrie Collins - Guide for the Day 27, landscape designer
11:15 am. The best way I know how to describe my experience of being a part of dedicating the Peace Dome to the World and aiding in this movement of peace across the earth, is like being in love. I feel like I’m in love with humanity and everyone who arrives to experience the Peace Dome is like my very best friend.
This is an event I have been preparing for all of my life.
I was at the refreshment area most of the morning and the other guides and people in charge of the refreshment area and I were talking about how helping people is what we always wanted to do since we were children. I remember being about 7 and feeling that I had a mission to "save the world". It is so wonderful to see the physical manifestation of a dream I’ve had for so long.

"How I Spent My 47th Birthday"
I have been looking forward to this day for many months, not because it was my b-day, but because it was Peace Dome Dedication day. Having my birthday coinciding with this event was, I feel, a great honor. This is my second trip to SOM headquarters and the energy and love of the place is fantastic! I spent the morning connecting with many people, sharing experiences, joy and love, talking and witnessing the events of the day. I have always searched for knowledge and wisdom from different cultures and faiths, the School of Metaphysics has brought it all together for me, focused the desire for spiritual wisdom within me and has given a clear path to attain it. What better way to spend a day than bringing all this energy and love together for the cause of World Peace.

1:34 pm. Peace is the Breath of Our Spirit...Being here at the College of Metaphysics Campus on October 11th is like being born again. It’s a change in consciousness, an evolvement of humanity. The Dedication of the World’s First Peace Dome is a life changing experience. Seeing the culmination of time, attention and love to bring the world together in this momentous event is awe-inspiring. The connectedness that I felt with everyone was magnified to a new level when we all encircled the Peace Dome holding hands! It was such a beautiful experience, an expanding of light and love like I’ve never felt before, being at peace, whole. It is a moment that will always be with me and the love that I share with everyone in the School. I felt a shift within me, a coming to a new level of awareness within myself as if old layers had been shed and a new identity is coming of age. I think as the School enters it’s next cycle of learning and growth, we all do and we are on the verge of a major expansion and it is good. Amen.

A moments peace has changed the world and will continue to change the world. I know I am forever changed from this day and the entire School of Metaphysics is changed, as is the consciousness of the entire planet. I experience the power of a common goal among many people this week as we prepared for this day. It amazes me to see so many people with different backgrounds gathered with the common ideal of peace and moves me to know that all people do desire peace. I can imagine what it might be like for all of humanity to work together to fulfill a common vision that will add to all of creation. I feel honored to be a part of dedicating the Peace Dome to the world. There is also now a greater dedication of myself to be of service in the world.

Octadome Site
Today began long ago, so let us begin with this morning. The atmosphere was created by nature and creative minds to provide a space to give gifts of peace. The air was moist and inviting. A gentle breeze spoke through trees as it rustled through the leaves. The colors of fall were breathtaking. The Octadome Site is a place to give, receive and share gifts of peace. People from all ages came from all areas to give gifts of singing, pledging, performing, speaking and reading. The child in everyone was invited to pledge their thoughts and vision for peace as well as participate in sing-a-longs and giving their thoughts on peace for a visual documentary. The documentary includes a collection of people’s vision of peace and what it means for them. The area of the Octadome Site gave people the means to assimilate their thoughts and experiences of peace they’ve had to this point.
After the One Voice of the Universal Peace Covenant, it was noticed that a ray of sun shown through the clouds. It was a continual process of creation, from the creative dream that began long ago. We will continue to radiate the unified voice of peace.

I cannot conceive of the first ripple in the waters of accumulation. This morning started out as a follow up, a faint echo of a long awaited desire. It has continually grown all day, ebbed and flowed. Its impressive to see the capacity to respond that we have gleaned. Its hard to see all that space filled entirely. So this image of richness and fullness fuels me. It has been quite a success in that it has embodied exceptional cooperation and an expansion of attention beyond what I think may of us have previously known. A new door has been opened up today in humanity's hall of perfection, and now it will be lived with more certainty than before.
I found myself just being the fingertips of a greater authority, being the connecting link between desire and manifestation. Giving visions of what the intuitive reports offer and asking questions probing the understandings and interests of others makes that connection. One thing that has been quite profound today has been the connection made in silence, in peace. It is truly an example of the power of intent and of purpose. With something like this its not as easy to get caught up in activity. So much of my true ideal has surfaced in the physical today and its quite amazing. I am grateful for every single space that I’ve had the opportunity to fill for others joy as well as my own.

Jaqie Braden 20’s, body piercer
I had the honor and privilege of manning the upper level of the dome this afternoon. Meeting so many interesting people and sharing unforgettable experiences with them. Everyone picked random lines from the peace covenant that were wrapped around marble stones, I noticed that every line some one would get seemed to fit them and be what they were thinking about or needing to hear. Listening to them reading it aloud in the center of the dome, feeling the rush of energy and emotion rush through them and receiving them during and after their own personal experience, seeing the difference that we made in their lives by them just being here today. I realized by being here and connecting with everyone how much all of our efforts and time we’ve put into this monumental occasion, have paid off in the long run and will continue to change humanity as a whole. The whole entire planet has been effected by our actions and efforts, for the better, uniting us for once and for all. I’m so overwhelmed to be here and be a part of this Life altering experience. I want to thank anyone and everyone who had any part in the preparation of and all guests who came and were a part in the "Peace Dome Dedication" I LOVE YOU ALL, Just Because You Are. I and many others besides myself will NEVER forget the experiences shared today, memories last forever. Amen. Peace be with you always in body, mind and spirit.
Silent awakening of manifestation was so incredibly powerful this day in time. Future possibilities are endless. Awaiting the outcome of our united consciousness, flowing like a raging river into an endless waterfall. World Peace no longer seems like an endless journey into the unknown, just a voyage currently under way, I see islands ahead mate, arrgh, and engines full throttle. Nothing is Impossible.

Wow. Many souls working together to bring awareness to the planet. What more is there to say. I watched the documentary on the Peace Dome called, "Peace Making." This film has inspired me to want to create expansively. I want to give to people the way this film has given to many others. When, people were watching this film the room was still while they were becoming unified with every image that passed their eyes. It was nice to see tears fall from many eyes when feeling the love this film projects. In order for me to be able to do this, I need to walk the walk and get it together. I have such love for humanity that I will do what it takes to serve for them. This planet is evolving and I know that the school is a part of this.

People are moving on every part of campus. Cars move back to main campus from the makeshift parking lot we created in the field across the street. One lady ran over what Paul Blosser said was the only rock in the field. Her car was aground. Paul and three other men managed to work together to lift the car and free the rock. Several others help bring the hay bays back into one stack before the rain began. A strong fire enabled us to roast weiners and marshmallows and stay warm in the gentle sprinkle that came through the trees. Inside cooks brought out salad, beans, corn, sauerkraut and condiments. At 9:30 we gather in the second floor of the Peace Dome for the best meditation yet. Filled with the Universal Peace Covenant thought forms, the covernant glows bright, hums more steadily and firmly. Retiring for the night brings an end to this day, and we all look forward to our dreams.
