Seeds of PEACE
Parables of timeless truths from our daily lives
| Ever since we have decided to have the dedication to open the Worlds First Peace Dome on October 11th, I have experienced many people being attracted to that energy. Concrete workers had just finished pouring the ramp that leads to the second floor of the dome. I was walking around with them inspecting their work and discussing it. When we got to the front entrance way I stopped and said, "On October 11th we are dedicating the opening of the World’s First Peace Dome." |

One of the workers, the one who knew the craft of masonry, stepped back in awe taking in what I had seen. He’d said "Wow, in Windyville? Can a concrete worker come to such an event?" I said, "You bet!" It was like a Biblical moment of connectedness - the parting of the seas, Jesus son of a carpenter.
The very next day I went in to pick up a steer we had butchered at a Mennonite meat packing house. It was my first visit. One of the people who worked behind the desk asked me my name and we started talking about the School of Metaphysics. I told him about October 11th and the Peace Dome dedication. Then I went out to help a guy load up my truck with the meat. When we were finished, I looked up and there were 4 Mennonites standing there eager to hear about the School of Metaphysics and the Worlds First Peace Dome.
We havent even sent out the invitations yet and people are already coming! Ron Locke is a retired Naval Officer who volunteers his time to make the community of Buffalo, Missouri a better place. He spearheads the Excel program, Toys for Tots to name a few. I saw Ron in Buffalo this week, told him about the dome and he responds with you know the Rotary is always interested in promoting peace throughout the world. He asked me if I could give him some material about the event so he can send it to the President of Rotary who lives in Thailand. Ron Locke is a real go getter, so I expect he will be putting out the word to lots of people.
Then, I met Melanie Asterita at the grocery store in Buffalo. She is another friend of the Schools and often comes to Peacemakers with her two boys and husband. They love the School of Metaphysics and when I mentioned the opening of the southside airform she had a Kundalini rush and couldnt wait to tell her husband, Forrest.
I am realizing there are a lot of people in our world that want to help build and support this Peace Dome. They are ready and they have the contacts to everyone on the planet. We are living the reality of the idea....build it and they will come.

The last weekend of April, the time of our annual National Dream Hotline®, is a time of expansion and reaching out to the world. This year, our 15th year, marks the beginning of the universal cycle of learning which is adulthood. During hotline we reach out to the world and in addition to the service of dream interpretation we provide we were able to serve three couples in a different way. |

Early Sunday afternoon a young couple accompanied by their three children arrived to see The Worlds First Peace Dome. They were interested in seeing the dome and the materials used to build it to make a decision on whether this type of structure would be what they want for their family.
The second couple were looking to build a dome for a home as well and they were very grateful for the opportunity. The husband walked up the ramp leading to the second floor and hugged the dome. He was the first person I had ever seen to hug the dome. They were very grateful for the opportunity to be here and left a donation to help complete the dome.
The third couple were supposedly lost. They came from Columbia and had definitely taken some turns and gone down some roads that they didnt expect to go down. However when they came here I knew they had found the right place.
Another experience I had was talking to the owner of a local gas station. Tornadoes had moved through the county doing a lot of damage. The proprietor and I were talking and he mentioned he was considering building a dome because of the strength of that structure.
We have a big influence on the world around us. What we teach, how we serve and move through the world is important and valuable.

Being Centered in the Consciousness of Dedicating the World's First Peace Dome by Matthew Marion |

This Monday I was cooking dinner with Christine Madar when we heard an unfamiliar voice from the east end of the great room. Christine noticed that Dr. Barbara was talking to a gentleman that we had never seen before. Upon Christines suggestion I went to make myself available to our new friend.
Dr. Barbara introduced me to George, a tall man with disheveled salt and pepper hair, bright eyes and a face lined from much laughing and smiling. Dr. Barbara went on to tell me that George is a representative of a printing company from St. Charles, Missouri. She said: "George is here to talk to us about printing, or so he thinks. Why don’t you talk to him about why he is really here, while I go gather some information for him."
I was thankful because her statement helped center me in the consciousness of dedicating The World's First Peace Dome. George of course was interested in our books, so I showed him Permanent Healing, The Dreamers Dictionary and the rest of our titles.
I asked George if he had noticed the big white dome when he pulled up. He had and of course I asked if he would like a tour. George eagerly agreed. As we walked out to the dome I talked about the history of the school, and he was politely interested. We went to the upper floor of the dome and continued to talk. Suddenly George stopped in the middle of the upper floor and turned around in a circle. An excited look came over his face and he said, "Keep talking the acoustics up here are great." George was like a little kid, he practically skipped over to the west window and as he looked out he was appreciative of the wonderful view of our land.
The flood gates had opened and George asked question after question about what we teach and who we are. The School of Metaphysics made a friend that day because we recognized that everyone we meet wants to know about the school. So remember, everyone you meet, whether it is a telemarketer, pizza delivery boy, clerk at a gas station -- every single person who crosses your path wants what you have to give. Be abundant and have fun making new friends.
