Talking ‘Bout My Generation ...

....a message for students from a student

Pennies. What do you think about when you see a penny?

In the early days of the School of Metaphysics the students in that generation thought about a common ideal. This was (and is) a vision to have a place where people from all over the world, people of all sizes, all ages, all backgrounds, people with a common ideal of gaining mastery of consciousness. Envisioning a place where every individual can come and learn and go forth bringing light into the world. Every penny represented this thought -- the College of Metaphysics. In a few short years, over 700,000 pennies were collected by the School of Metaphysics students.

Today, we are manifesting and causing that vision to grow. Whether you have been studying for two weeks or twenty-seven years you are a part of the next generation who will aid the School of Metaphysics in its next evolutionary step. In October of this year we will be dedicating the World’s First Peace Dome here on the College of Metaphysics campus. At General Assembly we contemplated and reasoned what this means to us as a school and how it will effect the world. This is our generation’s time. Now is our time to unite in our common vision of serving the world. In the beginning years of the school pennies were collected. Our pennies are with every word we speak, whether it be our neighbor who lives across the street, the grocery sacker at our local supermarket, or the person standing behind you at the gas station. It is applying what you are learning in class -- being a living example of metaphysics -- every moment of your day with every person you meet.

Talk with your director and teacher of how you can participate in the World’s First Peace Dome dedication. Ask your teacher about the Universal Peace Covenant and share this with everyone you meet. With each person you talk with you will gain ten-fold in self-awareness.

As we stand, united in common purpose, we hereby commit ourselves in thought and action so we might know the power of peace in our lifetimes.

United with a common ideal and purpose. We will cause peace to move across the face of the earth. This is the potential, challenge, and destiny of the present generation.

Peace be with us all ways. May Peace Prevail On Earth.
